CV's and interviews are your chance to 'sell' yourself. You are ultimately a product that you are selling to the interviewer.

The main purpose of a CV is to get you into the interview. It must be a succinct, interesting document. It must be free of waffle, but still include all information that is required. The order of the details must be suitably presented depending on the client's background, experience, qualifications and career direction.

The CV must be customised for each job opening. The days of one CV for every job application are gone.

Once completed your CV must be distributed to give you as much exposure to potential employers as possible.

Preparation for interview is critical. From research on the job and organisation to your personal sales pitch! It all mounts towards a job offer.

There are a number of standard interview questions that clients can prepare for in advance. As well as that a client must be able to deal with shortcomings and perceived 'negative' interview questions.
