CV's and interviews are your chance to 'sell' yourself. You are ultimately a product that you are selling to the interviewer.

The main purpose of a CV is to get you into the interview. It must be a succinct, interesting document. It must be free of waffle, but still include all information that is required. All details must be presented in a manner that best reflects the client's background, experience, qualifications and career direction.

The CV must be customised for each job opening. The days of one CV for every job application are gone.

Once completed your CV must be distributed so that to you as much exposure to potential employers as possible.

Succeeding in an interview is all about preparation. Everything from research on the job and organisation to your personal sales pitch requires preparation!.

Clients can prepare for various types of interview questions in advance. clients can prepare for in advance. A client must be able to deal with shortcomings and perceived 'negative' interview questions and questions that allow you to demonstrate your suitability for the position. Some interviews are called 'competency interviews', in which case, candidates must be able to demonstrate particular competencies to the potential employers.
